🛑 How to spot a "trap restaurant" in the centre of Córdoba
Three things to check before you sit down at a table:
Endless menus with faded photos: if a place offers paella, pasta, generic burgers and frozen flamenquín all at once, be wary. Kitchens that work well specialise.
The hook at the door: if the staff chase you down the pavement to get you inside, it usually means the food does not speak for itself.
No technique, no identity: Córdoba is a land of tradition and also of new cooking. Look for places with a clear idea: market produce, signature cooking, or one technique they have mastered.
